Ingredients
1½ lbs sirloin steak or ribeye (cut into 1-inch cubes)
1 tbsp olive oil
1½ tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp dried thyme or Italian seasoning
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp fresh chopped parsley (for garnish)
Optional for Serving:
Garlic butter (melt 2 tbsp butter with 1 minced garlic clove)
Ranch, BBQ sauce, or chimichurri for dipping
Steamed veggies or mashed potatoes
Rice, salad, or warm pita bread
Instructions
Step 1: Prep the Steak
Trim any excess fat from the steak and cut it into 1-inch bite-sized cubes.
Pat dry with a paper towel to help them crisp up in the air fryer.
Step 2: Season the Bites
Place steak cubes in a large bowl.
Drizzle with olive oil and Worcestershire sauce.
Add garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and thyme.
Toss until every piece is well-coated with seasoning.
Step 3: Preheat the Air Fryer
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3-5 minutes.
This helps get a nice sear on the steak bites.
Step 4: Air Fry the Steak Bites
Place the seasoned steak bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
Don’t overcrowd—cook in batches if needed.
Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
For medium doneness, aim for 8 minutes. For well-done, cook closer to 10-12 minutes.
Step 5: Make Garlic Butter (Optional but Recommended)
While the steak bites are cooking, melt 2 tbsp butter in a small pan.
Add 1 minced garlic clove and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Drizzle over the cooked steak bites for an extra layer of flavor.
Step 6: Garnish & Serve
Once done, transfer steak bites to a serving plate.
Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley and serve hot with your favorite sides or dips.
Notes
Use a Good Cut – Sirloin, ribeye, or strip steak work best for tenderness.
Cut Evenly – Uniform size ensures even cooking.
Don’t Overcrowd – Space between pieces gives you better browning.
Rest Before Serving – Let them rest a few minutes to keep juices in.
Customize the Flavor – Add a pinch of cayenne for heat or a splash of soy sauce for umami.
