Instructions

  2. Melt butter on low heat until lightly browned; let cool.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cornstarch, spices, and salt.
  4. Combine cooled butter with sugars in a mixing bowl; add egg, yolks, reduced cider, and vanilla.
  5. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined; let dough rest.
  6. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  7. Scoop dough onto the baking sheet and bake for 9–11 minutes.
  8. Cool on the sheet for five minutes before transferring to a rack.
