  • 4 flaky French croissants
  • 46 slices quality turkey
  • 8 slices gruyère or Swiss cheese
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • ½ tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • ½ tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice each croissant in half lengthwise. Layer the bottom half with 2 slices of cheese, followed by turkey slices, and another slice of cheese before placing the top half back on.
  3. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, honey, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, and poppy seeds. Brush this mixture over the tops of the croissants.
  4. Bake for 7-9 minutes until the cheese is melted and the croissants are golden.
  5. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving warm.
