Ingredients
- 4 flaky French croissants
- 4–6 slices quality turkey
- 8 slices gruyère or Swiss cheese
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 1 tablespoon honey
- ½ tablespoon Dijon mustard
- ½ tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon poppy seeds
- Green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Slice each croissant in half lengthwise. Layer the bottom half with 2 slices of cheese, followed by turkey slices, and another slice of cheese before placing the top half back on.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, honey, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, and poppy seeds. Brush this mixture over the tops of the croissants.
- Bake for 7-9 minutes until the cheese is melted and the croissants are golden.
