- 1 pound flank steak (thinly sliced)
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 3 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon peanut oil (divided)
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 pound lo mein or ramen noodles
- 1 cup mushrooms (sliced)
- 2 cups Napa cabbage (shredded)
- 1 medium carrot (julienned)
- 1 medium red bell pepper (julienned)
- 1 cup snow peas
- 1 cup bean sprouts
- Green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, cornstarch, peanut oil, and baking soda. Marinate the beef in this mixture for about 10 minutes.
- Heat one tablespoon of peanut oil in a wok over medium-high heat. Stir-fry the marinated beef for about 3 to 4 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same wok, add another tablespoon of peanut oil and stir-fry mushrooms, cabbage, carrots, and bell pepper for about 2 minutes until softened.
- Add snow peas, bean sprouts, cooked beef, and noodles to the wok. Pour over oyster sauce and toss everything together for an additional minute until well combined.
- Serve hot garnished with sliced green onions.
