  • 8 ounces penne pasta
  • 1 pound large shrimp (raw, deveined)
  • 1 pound top sirloin steak (cut into cubes)
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 2 cups grated parmesan cheese
  • Blackened seasoning
  • Garlic, onion, parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, sauté shrimp seasoned with blackened seasoning in vegetable oil for 2-3 minutes per side until opaque; remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, sear cubed sirloin steak seasoned with blackened seasoning for about 5-7 minutes until browned; set aside.
  4. Lower heat and melt butter in the skillet before adding diced onion; sauté for 3-4 minutes then add minced garlic for another minute.
  5. Stir in heavy cream gradually, followed by grated parmesan cheese until melted and smooth; season to taste.
  6. Add cooked pasta, steak, and shrimp to the sauce; toss gently to coat everything well.
  7. Serve warm garnished with chopped parsley.
