  • 4 salmon fillets (4 ounces each), skin removed
  • 1 pound raw jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cups fresh baby spinach
  • 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  • Cajun seasoning

Instructions

  1. Prepare the sauce by melting butter in a skillet over medium heat. Whisk in flour, Cajun seasoning, and paprika until fragrant.
  2. Gradually add chicken broth and heavy cream, simmering until thickened. Stir in cheese until melted.
  3. Cook seasoned salmon in another skillet for about 4 minutes on each side until golden brown; remove and set aside.
  4. Sauté shrimp in the same skillet for 3-4 minutes until pink.
  5. Add spinach to the sauce until wilted, then return salmon and shrimp to coat with the sauce.
