Instructions

  2. Mix in salt, almond extract, vanilla extract, and cherry extract until combined.
  3. Chop drained maraschino cherries into small pieces and pat dry with paper towels.
  4. Stir chopped cherries and finely ground pecans into the mixture.
  5. Gradually add flour until fully incorporated; adjust with additional flour if needed.
  6. Fold in mini semi-sweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  7. Chill dough for 30 minutes to an hour.
  8. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  9. Roll dough into balls (about 1½ tablespoons each) and place on prepared sheets.
  10. Bake for 15–17 minutes until lightly golden; let cool before rolling in powdered sugar.
