2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
-
Sesame seeds (optional for garnish)
Optional Add-ins:

½ cup snap peas or bell peppers for extra crunch
-
A splash of rice vinegar for brightness

Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Sauce
In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper.
Set aside.
Step 2: Cook the Chicken
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add the sliced chicken and cook for 4–5 minutes until golden and cooked through.
Transfer to a plate and set aside.
Step 3: Sauté the Vegetables
In the same skillet, add a little more oil if needed.
Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the cabbage and carrots and stir-fry for 3–4 minutes, until the vegetables are just tender but still crisp.
Step 4: Combine and Stir Fry
Return the cooked chicken to the skillet.
Pour the sauce over the chicken and vegetables.
Stir everything together and cook for another 2–3 minutes until heated through and coated in the sauce.
Step 5: Serve
Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
Serve hot over rice, noodles, or enjoy as a low-carb meal on its own.
Notes
Slice Everything Thin – Helps everything cook quickly and evenly.
Use High Heat – Keeps the veggies crisp and the chicken juicy.
Don’t Overcook the Cabbage – Stir-fry just until tender-crisp.
Adjust Seasonings – Add more soy sauce or a splash of rice vinegar to taste.
Serve Immediately – Best when hot and fresh for maximum flavor and texture.
