  • 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs, at room temperature
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for topping)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon (for topping)
  • 2 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and salt.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time.
  4. In another bowl, combine apple cider, applesauce, and vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the butter mixture alternating with wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Pour batter into a greased bundt pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cool for 10 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack.
