2 celery stalks (finely diced)
2 carrots (finely diced)
½ yellow onion (finely diced)
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
5 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cups chicken broth
½ cup heavy whipping cream
1 teaspoon chicken bouillon powder
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
8 ounces orzo pasta

Instructions

Cook the orzo according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Season the cooked chicken breasts with onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil and cook the seasoned chicken until internal temperature reaches 165°F. Dice into bite-sized pieces.
Add butter to the skillet along with the diced onion, carrots, and celery. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until softened.
Reduce heat to low, sprinkle flour over vegetables, and whisk together until a roux forms.
Gradually pour in chicken broth while whisking continuously to eliminate clumps; add bouillon powder and cream.
Stir in diced chicken and let simmer until thickened. Finally, add drained orzo and mix well.
