-
For the Alfredo Sauce:
- 2 tablespoons butter – For richness.
- 4 cloves garlic, minced – A bold garlic flavor.
- 1 cup heavy cream – The base of the creamy sauce.
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese – Adds sharpness and creaminess.
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning – For an extra layer of flavor.
- Salt and pepper, to taste – To bring everything together.
-
For the Pasta:
- 12 oz fettuccine (or pasta of your choice) – For a classic Alfredo base.
-
For Garnish:
- Fresh parsley, chopped – For a pop of color and freshness.
- Extra Parmesan cheese – For topping.
Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Step 2: Cook the Steak
While the pasta is cooking, season the steak with salt and pepper. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, depending on your desired level of doneness. Once cooked, remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it into thin strips against the grain.
Step 3: Make the Alfredo Sauce
In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine. Let the cream simmer for 3-4 minutes, allowing it to thicken slightly.
Step 4: Add the Cheese
Reduce the heat to low and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Continue stirring until the sauce is smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
Step 5: Combine Steak and Pasta
Add the cooked pasta to the Alfredo sauce and toss to coat. Top with the sliced steak and gently mix together until everything is well combined.
Step 6: Serve and Garnish
Serve the creamy garlic steak Alfredo in bowls. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and extra Parmesan cheese. Enjoy immediately!
Notes
- Rest the Steak – Let the steak rest after cooking to lock in the juices, ensuring a tender bite.
- Use Fresh Parmesan – Freshly grated Parmesan cheese will melt better and add more flavor than pre-grated cheese.
- Adjust the Sauce Thickness – If you prefer a thicker sauce, simmer it a bit longer. For a thinner sauce, add a splash of pasta water before tossing with the pasta.
