Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup pumpkin puree
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar (for coating)
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter (for coating)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and prepare your donut pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, brown sugar, vegetable oil, and milk until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, salt, and nutmeg.
  4. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Fill a piping bag or ziplock bag with the batter and pipe into the donut pan.
  6. Bake for 15-16 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for about 10 minutes in the pan before transferring to a cooling rack.
