Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients You’ll Need

  • 2 cups gummy bears (any flavor or mix you like)

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (optional, adds a tangy twist)

  • ½ tsp sea salt (optional, enhances flavor balance)

  • Nonstick spray or parchment paper (for easy removal)

Optional Add-Ons:

  • Sour sugar coating: ¼ cup sugar + ½ tsp citric acid

  • Mini gummy worms, gummy rings, or fruit snacks for variety

Instructions

Step 1: Prep the Tray
Line a baking sheet or flat tray with parchment paper or a silicone mat. Lightly spray with nonstick spray if not using parchment. This prevents the gummies from sticking once frozen.

Step 2: Arrange the Gummy Bears
Spread the gummy bears out in a single layer on the tray, leaving space between each one. If using different shapes or flavors, mix them in for a colorful variety.

Step 3: Optional Flavor Boost
If desired, lightly drizzle the gummy bears with lemon juice and sprinkle a touch of sea salt. This adds a subtle tangy-salty flavor that contrasts nicely with the sweetness.

Step 4: Freeze
Place the tray in the freezer and freeze for at least 2 hours, or until the gummy bears are fully firm. You can leave them overnight if making ahead.

Step 5: Transfer to Storage
Once frozen, transfer the gummy bears to a freezer-safe zip-top bag or airtight container. Keep them stored in the freezer until ready to snack.

Step 6: Optional Sour Coating
For an extra zing, combine sugar and citric acid in a small bowl. Toss the frozen gummy bears in this mixture just before serving.

Notes

Don’t Overcrowd – Spread them out to ensure even freezing.
Try Sugar-Free – Use sugar-free gummies for a low-calorie treat.
Freeze in Batches – Make different flavors or brands for variety.
Let Sit for a Minute – If too hard straight from the freezer, let them rest at room temp for 1-2 minutes before eating.
Go Gourmet – Mix in fruit juice gummies, vitamin gummies, or exotic-flavored bears for an elevated snack.
