Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Rigatoni
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Cook rigatoni according to package instructions until al dente.
- Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
Step 2: Cook the Steak Tips
- While the pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season the steak tips with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
- Sear the steak tips for 2-3 minutes per side, until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove and set aside.
Step 3: Make the Garlic Butter Sauce
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium-low and melt butter.
- Add minced garlic and Worcestershire sauce, cooking for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Return the steak tips to the pan and toss to coat in the garlic butter sauce.
Step 4: Make the Cheesy Rigatoni Sauce
- In a separate saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
- Pour in heavy cream, whisking until warmed.
- Add mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper, stirring until the cheese melts into a smooth sauce.
- Add the drained rigatoni to the sauce, tossing to coat. If needed, add a little reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce.
Step 5: Serve & Enjoy
- Plate the cheesy rigatoni and top with garlic butter steak tips.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan cheese.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
- Use Quality Steak – Sirloin, ribeye, or filet mignon work best.
- Don’t Overcook the Steak – Medium-rare to medium is ideal for juicy bites.
- Save Pasta Water – It helps keep the cheese sauce creamy.
- Grate Fresh Cheese – Pre-shredded cheese doesn’t melt as smoothly.
