Ingredients
For the Filling:
-
1 lb ground beef
-
½ small onion, finely chopped
-
2 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
-
½ tsp salt
-
½ tsp black pepper
-
1 tsp yellow mustard
-
1 tbsp ketchup
-
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or your favorite melting cheese)
For the Dough & Topping:
-
1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
-
2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
-
2 cloves garlic, minced
-
2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
-
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)
-
½ tsp garlic powder
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Cheeseburger Filling
Heat a skillet over medium heat.
Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spatula.
Add chopped onion and garlic, and cook for 2–3 minutes until softened.
Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, mustard, and ketchup.
Cook for another minute, then remove from heat.
Let the mixture cool slightly, then stir in shredded cheese. Set aside.
Step 2: Preheat Oven and Prepare Dough
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Separate the biscuit dough into individual pieces.
Flatten each biscuit into a 4-inch round using your hands or a rolling pin.
Step 3: Assemble the Bombs
Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the beef mixture into the center of each dough round.
Fold the edges up and around the filling, pinching to seal tightly.
Place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
Step 4: Make Garlic Butter Topping
In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, garlic powder, and parsley.
Brush each bomb generously with the garlic butter.
Sprinkle grated parmesan over the top.
Step 5: Bake to Golden Perfection
Bake in the preheated oven for 15–18 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.
Optional: Brush with more garlic butter right out of the oven for extra flavor.
Step 6: Serve Warm
Serve hot with dipping sauces like ketchup, mustard, ranch, or burger sauce.
Perfect as a meal with fries and salad, or as a snack on their own.
Notes
Seal Well – Pinch the dough tightly to prevent leaks during baking.
Cool the Filling – Let the beef mixture cool slightly before stuffing to avoid soggy dough.
Don’t Overfill – Too much filling can cause the bombs to burst open.
Cheese Options – Swap cheddar for mozzarella, pepper jack, or gouda for a twist.
Make Ahead – Prep and chill before baking, or freeze unbaked for later.
