  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 15 oz tomato sauce
  • 6 oz tomato paste
  • 14.5 oz diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 1 & 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onions until the meat is browned and no longer pink.
  2. Stir in the tomato sauce, tomato paste, and diced tomatoes until well combined.
  3. Season the mixture with garlic salt, chili powder, oregano, basil, and pepper to taste; let it simmer for about 15 minutes.
  4. While the sauce simmers, boil elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain well.
  5. Mix the cooked pasta into the skillet with the sauce until thoroughly coated.
  6. Lower the heat and add shredded cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheeses; stir until melted and mixed well.
