Ingredients

  • Homemade BBQ sauce
  • Skinless boneless chicken breasts
  • Brioche buns
  • Crispy turkey turkey bacon
  • Fresh lettuce
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Red onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (205°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine salt, black pepper, hot chili powder, smoked paprika, and garlic powder in a small bowl.
  3. Place chicken breasts on the baking sheet; season with the spice blend on both sides.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and generously apply BBQ sauce on both sides of the chicken; return to bake for another 5 minutes.
  5. Increase oven temperature to 475°F (245°C), add more BBQ sauce on both sides, and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
  6. In a frying pan over medium heat, toast brioche buns butter-side down until golden brown.
  7. Assemble the sandwiches by spreading more BBQ sauce on toasted buns. Layer with lettuce, chicken patty, mozzarella cheese, turkey turkey bacon, red onions, and top bun.
