Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup honey
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • juice of one small lemon
  • 1 pound large scallops
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  2. Heat butter in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Remove scallops from the marinade (reserve it) and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  3. Sear scallops in a single layer for about 3 to 3½ minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Add the reserved marinade to the skillet and cook until slightly thickened. Return scallops to coat them in the sauce.
