  • 1 can tomato sauce (15 oz)
  • 2/3 cup beef broth
  • 2/3 cup jasmine rice
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar-Jack cheese

Instructions

  1. Set your Instant Pot to 'browning/saute' mode. Add ground beef and diced onion; cook for about 5 minutes until browned.
  2. Stir in minced garlic and diced bell peppers; sauté for an additional minute.
  3. Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, jasmine rice, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Secure the lid and cook on 'High Pressure' for 5 minutes.
  4. Once cooking is complete, allow a natural release for 10 minutes before performing a quick release to open the lid.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top of the casserole, replace the lid, and let it sit for a few minutes to melt.
