Ingredients

For the Dip:
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup sweetened condensed milk
⅓ cup key lime juice (fresh or bottled)
1 tsp lime zest (optional, for extra zing)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup whipped topping or homemade whipped cream

For Garnish (Optional):
Extra lime zest
Crushed graham crackers
Whipped cream or extra dollop of topping
Thin lime slices

For Serving:
Graham crackers
Vanilla wafers
Shortbread cookies
Pretzels
Strawberries or apple slices

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Cream Cheese Base

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth and fluffy.

  2. Add sweetened condensed milk, key lime juice, lime zest, and vanilla extract.

  3. Beat until fully combined and silky.

Step 2: Fold in the Whipped Topping

  1. Gently fold in the whipped topping using a spatula.

  2. Mix until just combined to keep the texture light and airy.

Step 3: Chill (Optional but Recommended)

  1. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes for best texture and flavor.

  2. This allows the dip to thicken slightly and lets the lime flavor develop.

Step 4: Serve & Garnish

  1. Spoon into a serving dish.

  2. Garnish with lime zest, crushed graham crackers, or whipped cream.

  3. Serve with your favorite dippers.

Notes

Use Full-Fat Cream Cheese – It gives the dip structure and creaminess.
Fresh is Best – Fresh lime juice and zest add brighter flavor than bottled.
Chill Before Serving – It’s more refreshing and holds its shape better.
Customize the Tang – Add more juice or zest if you love extra citrus kick.
Dress It Up – Use mini cups or mason jars for individual servings at parties.
