- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp cooking rice grape juice
- 4 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- ¼ cup chicken stock
- ½ onion, sliced
- 6–8 dried chilies (deseeded)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tsp ginger, minced
- 2–3 spring onions, cut into pieces
- Oil for frying

- In a mixing bowl, combine the chicken with soy sauce, cooking rice grape juice, cornstarch, and vegetable oil. Mix well and let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, chicken stock, and cornstarch in a small bowl until dissolved to create the sauce.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the marinated chicken for about 5–6 minutes until crispy and golden brown; drain on paper towels.
- In the same pan, sauté sliced onion and dried chilies for a few seconds before adding garlic and ginger; cook until fragrant.
- Add the prepared sauce to the pan and stir until it thickens slightly. Toss in the fried chicken along with spring onions.
- Serve immediately with rice or noodles.
