  • 1 1/2 pounds beef chuck roast or brisket
  • 1 cup chopped yellow onion
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 12 oz uncooked spaghetti
  • 10 cups water
  • Beef bouillon paste
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 4 large hard boiled eggs
  • 1 cup chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Marinate the beef with salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and smoked paprika for at least 20 minutes.
  2. In a stockpot, heat vegetable oil over high heat and sear the marinated beef until browned; set aside.
  3. Add chopped onions, celery, bell pepper, and minced garlic to the pot; cook until softened.
  4. Return the beef to the pot along with soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, oyster sauce, water, and bouillon paste. Stir well.
  5. Simmer on low heat for about 60 minutes.
  6. Cook spaghetti according to package directions and drain.
  7. Serve the broth over spaghetti in bowls, topped with halved hard-boiled eggs and green onions.
