3 cups rice square cereal (like Rice Chex)
2 cups pretzel twists or sticks
2 cups popcorn (plain or lightly salted)
1 cup mini marshmallows
1 cup red and blue chocolate candies (like M&M’s)
½ cup yogurt or white chocolate covered raisins
For the Coating:
1 ½ cups white chocolate chips or vanilla melting wafers
1 tbsp coconut oil or vegetable oil (optional, for smoother melting)
Red, white, and blue sprinkles (for decorating)
Optional Add-Ins:
1 cup honey-roasted peanuts or almonds
1 cup dried cranberries or cherries
½ cup mini vanilla cookies or graham crackers
Instructions
Step 1: Combine the Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine rice cereal, pretzels, popcorn, mini marshmallows, chocolate candies, and yogurt-covered raisins.
Stir gently to mix without breaking the ingredients.
Step 2: Melt the White Chocolate
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine white chocolate chips and coconut oil.
Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until fully melted and smooth.
Alternatively, melt in a double boiler over low heat.
Step 3: Coat the Mix
Pour the melted white chocolate over the snack mix.
Use a rubber spatula to gently toss until all pieces are lightly coated.
Step 4: Add Sprinkles
Spread the coated snack mix onto a parchment-lined baking sheet in an even layer.
Immediately sprinkle the red, white, and blue sprinkles over the top while the chocolate is still wet.
Step 5: Let It Set
Allow the snack mix to cool and harden at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
Once set, break into chunks and serve or store.
