- 1 tbsp. brown sugar
- ¼ cup Greek yogurt
- ¼ cup plus 2 tbsp. milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp. unsalted butter (melted and cooled slightly)
- 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp. milk for the glaze
- ¼ tsp. peppermint extract
- 2 tbsp. crushed peppermint candies
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease your donut pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine all dry ingredients: flour, cocoa powder, espresso powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Whisk until mixed well.
- In another bowl, combine wet ingredients: Greek yogurt, milk, egg, vanilla extract, and melted butter. Stir until smooth.
- Gently fold the wet mixture into the dry mixture until just combined.
- Fill each donut cavity halfway with batter.
- Bake for about 10 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
