  • 1 package mini beef smokies (48 in pkg)
  • 2 cans Pillsbury crescent rolls
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • Sesame seeds and/or poppy seeds
  • 1 tablespoon coarse salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Open the crescent rolls and cut each roll into 1-inch strips lengthwise. Unroll each strip and cut it into four pieces.
  3. Wrap each mini beef smokie snugly with a piece of dough and arrange them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Brush the tops with the beaten egg and sprinkle with coarse salt or seeds if desired.
  5. Bake for about 15 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
