Ingredients

Scale

For the Pineapple Layer:

  • 2 cups frozen pineapple chunks

  • ½ cup pineapple juice or coconut water

  • Juice of ½ lime

  • ½ banana (optional for creaminess)

  • Ice as needed to thicken

For the Strawberry Layer:

  • 2 cups frozen strawberries

  • ½ cup orange juice or apple juice

  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional, to taste)

  • Juice of ½ lemon

  • Ice as needed to thicken

Optional Toppings:

  • Fresh mint leaves

  • Strawberry or pineapple slices

  • Chia seeds or coconut flakes

Instructions

Step 1: Blend the Pineapple Layer

  1. In a blender, combine frozen pineapple, pineapple juice, lime juice, and banana (if using).

  2. Blend until smooth and slushy. Add ice if needed to thicken.

  3. Transfer to a bowl or pitcher and rinse the blender.

Step 2: Blend the Strawberry Layer
4. In the clean blender, add frozen strawberries, orange juice, lemon juice, and sweetener (if using).
5. Blend until smooth and thick. Adjust with ice or juice as needed.

Step 3: Layer the Slushies
6. Spoon or pour alternating layers of pineapple and strawberry slush into glasses.
7. Use a straw or skewer to gently swirl the layers for a marbled effect (don’t overmix).
8. Garnish with fresh fruit or mint and serve immediately.

Notes

Use Frozen Fruit – Ensures thick, frosty consistency without too much ice.
Layer Slowly – To keep the swirl effect visible.
Chill the Glasses – Helps slushies stay cold longer.
Adjust Sweetness – Taste each layer and sweeten to preference.
Serve Right Away – Best enjoyed fresh and frosty.
