  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese (freshly grated)
  • 10 oz ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • 1 large egg (whisked)
  • 1 pound seafood mix
  • 1/2 lb lasagna noodles (fresh)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F (180C) and grease a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and whisk in flour for one minute. Gradually add milk, stirring until thickened. Stir in parmesan cheese and remove from heat.
  3. In mixing bowls, combine ricotta cheese, shredded mozzarella, whisked egg, parsley, and salt until well mixed.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat; sauté the seafood mix with salt, pepper, and parsley for about 3 minutes until cooked through.
  5. To assemble: Spread some bechamel sauce at the bottom of the dish, layer lasagna sheets, followed by ricotta mixture, seafood mix, and more bechamel sauce. Repeat layers until ingredients are used up, finishing with mozzarella on top.
  6. Bake for approximately 35 minutes until golden brown. Let cool before slicing.
