  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon turkey seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil (divided)
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons salted butter
  • ½ onion (sliced)
  • 1 cup mushrooms (sliced)
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme (minced)
  • 2 cups chicken stock

Instructions

  1. Pat the turkey cutlets dry and season with salt and pepper. Rub with turkey seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  2. Coat each cutlet in seasoned flour and let rest for 3–5 minutes.
  3. Heat oil in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Cook turkey for about 4–5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Set aside.
  4. Sauté onions, mushrooms, garlic, and thyme in the same skillet until soft.
  5. Add butter to the skillet; whisk in flour until smooth. Gradually stir in chicken stock until gravy thickens; season to taste.
  6. Return turkey to the pan, spoon gravy over it, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
