- ¼ cup vegetable oil (divided)
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons salted butter
- ½ onion (sliced)
- 1 cup mushrooms (sliced)
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme (minced)
- 2 cups chicken stock
Instructions
- Pat the turkey cutlets dry and season with salt and pepper. Rub with turkey seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Coat each cutlet in seasoned flour and let rest for 3–5 minutes.
- Heat oil in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Cook turkey for about 4–5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Set aside.
- Sauté onions, mushrooms, garlic, and thyme in the same skillet until soft.
- Add butter to the skillet; whisk in flour until smooth. Gradually stir in chicken stock until gravy thickens; season to taste.
- Return turkey to the pan, spoon gravy over it, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
