  • 15 drops red or pink liquid food coloring
  • 2 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 20 Golden Oreos
  • 1 box (3.4 oz) strawberry Jello powder
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Crush the Golden Oreos into small pieces and mix with melted butter and strawberry Jello powder in a bowl.
  2. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  3. In a mixer, cream together softened butter, white sugar, and light brown sugar until fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then incorporate strawberry extract and food coloring.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt before gradually adding to the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Scoop dough into balls and roll in the Oreo mixture; place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Bake for about 8 minutes; add extra topping and bake for an additional 4 minutes until lightly golden.
  8. Cool completely on wire racks before serving.
