  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger (minced)
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 4 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Coat sliced flank steak in cornstarch using a gallon-sized bag. Shake well and seal.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, water, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, sesame seeds, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes until combined.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook beef slices in batches until browned (3-4 minutes).
  4. Add broccoli florets and teriyaki sauce to the skillet; stir well to coat.
  5. Simmer for about 5-7 minutes until the broccoli is tender-crisp and the sauce thickens slightly.
