Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs flank steak (thinly sliced)
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger (minced)
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions
- Coat sliced flank steak in cornstarch using a gallon-sized bag. Shake well and seal.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, water, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, sesame seeds, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes until combined.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook beef slices in batches until browned (3-4 minutes).
- Add broccoli florets and teriyaki sauce to the skillet; stir well to coat.
- Simmer for about 5-7 minutes until the broccoli is tender-crisp and the sauce thickens slightly.
