For the Zucchini Bread:

- 1 teaspoon orange zest – Extra zing from the orange peel.
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – Adds depth to the glaze.
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat the Oven and Prepare the Pan
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan, or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
Step 2: Mix Dry Ingredients
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Set aside.
Step 3: Mix Wet Ingredients
In a large bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar until combined. Add the vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and grated zucchini, mixing well.
Step 4: Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients
Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined. If using nuts, fold them in at this stage.
Step 5: Bake the Bread
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread it evenly. Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean. Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Step 6: Prepare the Orange Cream Cheese Glaze
In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth. Add the powdered sugar, orange juice, orange zest, and vanilla extract, and mix until fully combined and smooth.
Step 7: Glaze the Bread
Once the zucchini bread has cooled completely, spread the orange cream cheese glaze over the top of the bread, allowing it to drizzle down the sides.
Step 8: Serve and Enjoy
