  • 500 grams organic grass-fed veal mince
  • 500 grams organic grass-fed chicken mince
  • 1 diced carrot
  • 1 diced celery stick
  • ½ diced brown onion
  • 2 bottles Italian passata
  • 250 ml milk
  • Provolone cheese
  • Buffalo mozzarella
  • Fresh egg lasagna pasta sheets

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients and dice the carrot, celery, and onion.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté onions until translucent, then add carrots and celery until soft.
  3. Add both kinds of minced meat and cook until browned. Stir in passata and let simmer for 30 minutes.
  4. For the béchamel sauce, melt butter in a saucepan, whisk in flour, then gradually add milk until thickened. Season with salt and nutmeg.
  5. In a baking dish, layer meat sauce, lasagna sheets, béchamel sauce, and cheese repeatedly until all ingredients are used.
  6. Bake at 180°C (350°F) covered for 90 minutes; then remove foil and bake for another 30 minutes until golden brown.
