Ingredients
- 500 grams organic grass-fed veal mince
- 500 grams organic grass-fed chicken mince
- 1 diced carrot
- 1 diced celery stick
- ½ diced brown onion
- 2 bottles Italian passata
- 250 ml milk
- Provolone cheese
- Buffalo mozzarella
- Fresh egg lasagna pasta sheets
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients and dice the carrot, celery, and onion.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté onions until translucent, then add carrots and celery until soft.
- Add both kinds of minced meat and cook until browned. Stir in passata and let simmer for 30 minutes.
- For the béchamel sauce, melt butter in a saucepan, whisk in flour, then gradually add milk until thickened. Season with salt and nutmeg.
- In a baking dish, layer meat sauce, lasagna sheets, béchamel sauce, and cheese repeatedly until all ingredients are used.
- Bake at 180°C (350°F) covered for 90 minutes; then remove foil and bake for another 30 minutes until golden brown.
