  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream

Instructions

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, and baking powder. Grate the cold butter into the mixture and gently toss until combined. Chill in the freezer for about 10 minutes.
  3. Fold in the blueberries, creating a well in the center to pour in buttermilk. Stir gently until just mixed.
  4. On a floured surface, knead the dough lightly until it comes together. Roll out to about 3/4-inch thick and fold five times.
  5. Cut out biscuits using a biscuit cutter and place on the prepared baking sheet. Gather scraps to cut additional biscuits.

  7. For icing, whisk together powdered sugar and heavy cream until smooth, then drizzle over cooled biscuits.
