Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine in boiling salted water until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Season shrimp with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter; sauté garlic until fragrant. Stir in flour to form a roux; cook for about 1 minute.
  4. Gradually whisk in chicken broth and heavy cream until smooth. Once thickened, add Parmesan cheese and sun-dried tomatoes; mix well.
  5. Return shrimp to the skillet along with fresh basil, paprika, salt, and pepper; combine.
  6. Gently toss cooked linguine into the sauce mixture until well-coated. Simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes.
