  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon herbs de Provence
  • 4 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 10 oz bag frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
  • 11.36 oz box cheddar bay biscuit mix
  • 3/4 cup cold water
  • 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and milk. Add garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and herbs de Provence, stirring until combined.
  3. Fold in the cooked shredded chicken and thawed mixed vegetables until well mixed.
  4. Spread the mixture into a greased baking dish and bake for 15 minutes.
  5. While filling bakes, prepare the biscuit mix according to package instructions by combining it with cold water and shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Remove the filling from the oven and evenly spread the biscuit dough over it.
  7. Return to the oven for an additional 15–18 minutes until the biscuit crust is golden brown.
  8. Mix melted butter with any seasoning packet from the biscuit mix and brush over the top before serving.
